Some people say that dogs just want to fight with everyone all the time. But that is not true. How a dog acts depends on the training it gets from its owners, and raising a dog is just like raising children.
If their canines were improperly raised, they would become unpleasant and always antagonistic to other species and dogs. But if they are raised properly, they will become man’s best friends.
If properly raised, man’s best buddy would be a friend to everyone else. Occasionally, they may even serve as peacemakers, and not troublemakers. And a great example of this would be this very calm dog in our story today.
Usually, when dogs encounter chickens, they become angry, but not this dog. In reality, he even became a peacemaker between the two chickens that were in a fight.
The video was recorded in Chaiyaphum, Thailand. You could see two chickens that were settling their disputes the old-fashioned way – by engaging in a fight.
Fortunately, our attentive dog was nearby and quickly intervened to separate these quarreling birds. The chickens were fighting so fiercely that one of the chickens had grabbed the other chicken’s wing with its beak.
What did our hero dog do? He took one of the fowl by its tail by grabbing it with its mouth. The dog continued to step back because the other chicken was still fighting. It pursued the other chicken that the dog had grabbed. The chicken held by the dog responded accordingly.
The footage was cut off, but it appeared that the fight had already concluded. As our courageous dog showed no intention of releasing the chicken that he was holding, the other fowl decided to just stop what it was doing.
This dog appeared to be a mongrel, a mixed breed that does not have a full bloodline. But breed is not important as shown in this story.
