In Rome, Italy, a Miniature Pinscher named Taco met a stray kitten while he was outside for his potty training sessions. They were both unsure about each other at first, but then Taco started to smell and nibble the kitten’s ear. The kitten allowed him to get close, so they became fast friends.
Since that day, whenever Taco went out for walks and potty training, he would play with the kitten. His mom, Delfina Plaja, watched them play. It became a part of Taco’s daily routine.
Delfina asked the people in the area about the kitten. No one had any knowledge how he arrived at the place and why he was all alone. He had been living in an open garage and someone in the neighborhood had been giving him food.
When a wave of storms hit Rome, Delfina got worried about Taco’s little friend, so she decided to get him. The kitten was soaked in rainwater when Delfina brought him home. At first, the kitten was scared, but Taco made him feel at ease. His presence assured the kitten that he was safe.
Delfina and her husband, Olivier Tops, could not allow him to return to the street. Hence, they decided to adopt him, and he got the name Tequila. Taco was very happy with this new addition to the family. He could play with his friend whenever he wanted.
Tequila would follow Taco everywhere. If they were not tumbling and playing, they slept cuddled up next to each other. Like typical brothers, they had the tendency to zoom around the house and create mayhem.
Taco and Tequila had very different personalities. Taco was outgoing and knew how to make friends anywhere he went. On the other hand, Tequila was an introvert although brave. Even though they had many differences, they had a good relationship.
Taco was very happy that he got to have his best friend as his brother.
