An Alaskan Malamute That Was Close To Death Was Rescued And Nursed Back To Health

An Alaskan Malamute That Was Close To Death Was Rescued And Nursed Back To Health

Belle Ava April 4, 2023

When Ronan, an Alaskan Malamute, was brought to a shelter in Washington, his future was uncertain. Struggling with an array of ailments, including painful lesions, severe osteoarthritis, a thyroid condition, and infections, Ronan was in dire need of help.

To give the struggling dog a second chance, the shelter reached out to The Asher House, a sanctuary for rescued and rehabilitated animals in Estacada, Oregon.

Founded by Lee Asher, the Asher House provides a haven for abused, neglected, or discarded animals. Lee, with years of experience in animal rescue, was no stranger to the challenges he would face in caring for Ronan. As soon as the dog arrived at the Asher House, the people around him gave Ronan a lot of love and comfort.

Despite the severe condition of the pup, Lee was set on helping him by giving him all the love and care he needed. Under Lee’s nurturing care, Ronan slowly started to blossom, and his health began to improve. The transformation of Ronan from a weak dog to a happy and healthy companion is proof that love and commitment can heal.

Lee’s unwavering determination and commitment to giving Ronan the best life possible is an example of the positive impact one person can have on the world. Dogs are known for their strength, loyalty, and unwavering love toward their owners. However, sometimes even the most resilient dogs may fall weak and need a helping hand to get back on their feet.

Whether it’s due to an injury, illness, or neglect, dogs can become helpless and in need of support. It’s during these trying times that humans play a crucial role in restoring a dog’s health and helping them get back on track. With the right care, love, and attention, dogs can make a remarkable recovery and lead fulfilling lives.

One of the steps in helping a weak dog is to provide them with proper medical attention. With proper medical treatment, dogs can recover from injuries and illnesses and start on the road to recovery.
