Dog Sneaks Into The Neighbor’s House Every Night To Join The Kids During Bath Time

Dog Sneaks Into The Neighbor’s House Every Night To Join The Kids During Bath Time

Belle Ava October 10, 2020

Dogs are known to hate two things: a visit to the vet and bath time. While there are a select few who make bath time easier for their owners, most would think twice before getting their fur wet.

When a family in Melbourne, Australia, got a Staffie named Aeida, they never expected she’d live a double life. Aeida and their next-door neighbor’s dog, Cashew, have been best friends since they’ve known each other. They basically do everything together.

So when their owners realize how strong their bond was, they decided to make it easier for both dogs to see each other every day. Both families agreed to make a doggy door between their houses where the dogs can meet and play all they want. Little did they know, it gave the dogs more than the opportunity to be with each other.

Since the dogs come and go from both families’ houses, it is no surprise that they have become close to the humans as well. Aeida was especially fond of the neighbor’s kids. The only thing that Aeida wants to do more than playing with her best friend, Cashew, is playing with the kids. So much so that Aeida’s family realized that she had been living a double life.

Normally, Aeida doesn’t like bath time. Like most dogs, she would find ways to stay away from it. However, Aeida’s family soon found out that she visits the neighbors every night and joins the kids during bath time! The sneaky dog loved bath time only when she can do it with the kids.

Since both dogs have become a part of both families’ lives, it is only proper, at least according to Aeida, to join in on the family’s activities, including bath time. So every chance she gets, she jumps into the bathtub with the kids.

Thankfully, their neighbors are happy to have the mischievous pup over any time, and knowing that she hates bath time, having her in the bathtub with the neighbor’s kids is definitely a hysterical sight.
