Hank Saves The Family From A Fire That Could’ve Become Tragic

Hank Saves The Family From A Fire That Could’ve Become Tragic

Belle Ava November 9, 2019

We all have read and watched stories of dogs who were rescued from really bad situations and scenarios. Their will to live and enjoy life has been inspiring to many people.

This story though is about a dog who saved his owner from an untimely death. This story is about Hank.

Ulysses owns Hank. One night, he decided to stay at home and just watch a movie. Around midnight, he noticed that Hank started to bark a lot. He decided to ignore his dog but Hank continued to bark quite loudly.

Ulysses decided to find out what the ruckus was all about. Hank doesn’t behave that way and he knew that he should check it out.

When Ulysses was near the living room, he saw that there were flames in their yard. Upon closer inspection, the fire was everywhere. His work shed which was made from wood was fiery. Inside that shed was a lot of flammable materials. The trees in the yard were already on fire.

Ulysses hurriedly woke up his family and got them out of the house. They then went to their neighbor’s house and woke them up since their fence and their shed was also ablaze. They all helped get everybody out.

The firemen arrived on the scene a few minutes later. They were able to douse the flames. They talked to Ulysses and the neighbors and they said that if they weren’t able to go out of the house in a minute or two, they wouldn’t have made it.

Ulysses breathed a sigh of relief. He had been ignoring Hank when he started barking but it was a good thing that his dog was persistent and was alert. If not, they wouldn’t be standing safe and sound outside their homes.

Good boy, Hank. Good boy.

This is him today, 6 years after eating some shoes, 15 hours after saving our house and family. He can have all the shoes and steak he wants, and I will never get mad at him for barking, ever again. 15/10, the very best boy. pic.twitter.com/GsJYQKd9FA
