Missing Support Dog Found After 2 Months

Missing Support Dog Found After 2 Months

Belle Ava June 2, 2019

Dogs became known as humankind’s best friend for countless reasons. They offer perfect love, companionship and even loyalty way better than most humans. Anyone who ever formed this special bond with a canine can attest to the great collaborative relationship between dogs and humans. But what happens when we lose our best friend?

It’s never unusual for dogs to grieve the loss of a person whom they felt close with and bonded. While dogs may not understand the reason for the absence, dogs certainly understand the emotional feeling of someone missing notably if that someone already became part of their daily lives.

A dog named Peanut probably knows exactly how it feels to lose that special someone after getting lost and separated from owner Ashley Youngblood. The two parted for an agonizing two month after the three-year-old Yorkie breed dog vanished from their home in Euclid, Ohio early February.

His owner Ashley felt devastated and desperate to get the dog back that she even offered a reward for her dog’s return. The fully registered emotional support animal helps to manage Ashley’s anxiety disorder, so every hour missing takes a heavy toll. She even takes the canine to work as a nurse where Peanut also helps other patients suffering from anxiety.

Luckily, a viewer saw the news about the missing dog and immediately phoned the saddened owner. Ashley did not quickly believe the caller and decided to be somewhat cautious. She thought it would be best since her hopes could crumble if the dog turned out not who she expects. Nonetheless, she entertained the informant and decided to give it a go as this could be the answer to her prayers.

The caller said that the dog on the news resembles the dog her boyfriend rescued. The owner agreed to meet the caller after a few days so she can have a look to see if it’s the missing Peanut. After the dog saw Ashley, he walked up to her very casually as if he just took some time off. Ashley broke into tears and hugged Peanut as she surely missed her pet.

The couple who found the dog declined to accept the reward from Ashley and wished them both happiness. The owner finally felt relieved and thrilled getting reunited with her pet.
