Meet Panda, the 5-year-old dog of famous Filipina actress Love Marie Escudero, popularly known on-screen as Heart Evangelista. Panda’s full name is Maria Panda Ongpauco Escudero, but her nickname is Princess Panda or Pan-Pan. True to her name, this chic dog lives a life fit for a princess.
Panda looks like a Miniature Alaskan Malamute. But she is an Aspin, a breed that is native to the Philippines. She experienced abuse when she was little, but all of that changed when Heart Evangelista found her. The famous actress fell in love with Panda, at first sight, so she decided to adopt her right away.
In a YouTube video that now reached almost 700K views, Panda shared a glimpse of her fabulous life. She was dubbed in the video, but she would probably say the same things, too, if only she could talk.
Her typical day starts with positive affirmations to make her day lovely. Then she cuddles with her mom to let her feel her undying love for her. Panda loves to stay in bed with her mom or follow her around wherever she goes inside the house.
Panda also loves fashion, just like her mom. Dressing up is one of their favorite pastimes. Panda also makes her fashion statement. She wears a scarf from the luxury brand Hermes, a Goyard collar, and other branded fashionable items like Louis Vitton.
Panda’s mommy, Heart Evangelista, is a dog lover and a strong advocate for dog adoption. When she has extra time out from work, she visits dog shelters and spends time with rescue dogs to show them some love. Aside from Panda, she also has four other dogs named Yogi, Casper, Khaleesi, and Chico. She also has three cats named Mingming, Chuni, and Mina.
