Sloppy Dog With A Little Issue With His Manners Gets His Forever Home, Thanks To His Foster Mom’s Hilarious Adoption Post

Sloppy Dog With A Little Issue With His Manners Gets His Forever Home, Thanks To His Foster Mom’s Hilarious Adoption Post

Belle Ava September 4, 2021

You don’t need to change for somebody to love you. You just need to be honest, pure, and be your unapologetic self. And that honesty and embracing oneself was what landed one sloppy dog his forever home.

Chowder is a bit of an oddball when it comes to manners and general cleanliness. His general approach to things, as his foster mom puts it, is kind of gross but she loves him for it. So, for Chowder’s adoption post, his mom just put in everything they need to know about Chowder and she was as transparent as she can be.

Partly because she knows that people need to know who Chowder is before they take him home and she knows that Chowder is a sweet boy and his quirks are a part of him.

The post listed the requirements needed to take him home and it was just an accurate reflection of his hilariousness and quirkiness. The first requirement was that they needed to have sturdy, non-breakable children. Chowder’s strength is hulk-like and plays will surely end up with some falling and dragging.

Second, no other pet dogs in the house are allowed. He can’t be around other dogs or see other dogs because if he does, he howls. So, be prepared when you go on walks with him because you will surely catch some odd looks, questioning why you have a dog who screams like a lunatic. And also make sure that you have the strength because you need to get that leash in control.

The next requirement was that no out-of-state applicants and the adopter should be in a single-family home with a fenced yard. With all the time his foster mom spent with him, she requires Chowder to be in the same state and just be driving distance away from his sloppy foster baby.

This well-written and hilarious adoption post eventually landed Chowder a new and lasting home. Chowder’s new family welcomed his quirky lifestyle. Chowder quickly adapted to his new home and they definitely love and enjoy how much his personality shone through.

Chowder also has a pool in his home and he loves it. He’s even got his own little swim vest. From his foster mom to his new family, Chowder is adored. Quirks and all.
