Canine species differ in size. There are large canine breeds such as the great Dane, Scottish deerhound, Newfoundland, Saint Bernard, Neapolitan mastiff, English mastiff, and Leonberger, among others. On the opposite end are tiny doggos, which include the French bulldog, toy poodles, beagle, bichon frise, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and the chihuahua, to name a few.
Right smack in the middle of large dogs and their tiny counterparts are those belonging to medium-sized breeds. These include collies, poodles, Bassett hounds, dalmatians, and American bulldogs. These dogs are your best bet if you want to take care of neither giant dogs nor small and fragile puppies.
But if you wish to be more adventurous, why not raise two dogs of different sizes at the same time? Think a tiny chihuahua and a medium-sized American bulldog. That might turn out to be a cute pairing.
Do you need more convincing? Please watch the video below.
In the video, we meet two dogs that are different size-wise. We have a regular-sized American bulldog that likes to chill and a tiny chihuahua that likes to poke fun at the American bulldog. Next to each other, these dogs look like the canine species’ answer to David and Goliath.
However, they do not fit the usual stereotypes when it comes to size. The American bulldog in the video happens to be laidback and gentle. Meanwhile, the American bulldog’s chihuahua housemate that could fit into his mouth is a legit bully.
First, the chihuahua plays with the bulldog’s tail. Next, he goes for the bulldog’s paws. After a while, the chihuahua comes for the bulldog’s face.
Yes, we have a brave chihuahua right here. Despite its size, it sure is gutsy. Thankfully, our chihuahua’s in the presence of a patient bulldog that could not care less about being bullied.
