Most dogs love snuggling, especially whenever they feel tired or sleepy. Sometimes, they initiate snuggle sessions with people they want to bond with. ‘Happy’ hormones are released into a dog’s brain during these cuddle sessions, making them crave more contact and bonding time with their family.
One particular pup named Graffiti loved to cuddle the people he genuinely liked and had earned his trust and confidence. This dog created a special snuggle style that his family dubbed as suffo-snuggling. His version of snuggling involved climbing over the person and laying down on their face and mouth.
Graffiti’s version was problematic since his body practically covered a person’s face, making it hard to breathe.
After a minute or two, the recipient of Graffiti’s embrace was left with no choice but to shift to a more comfortable position, forcing the doggo to move. However, this never stopped the pup from trying his preferred method repeatedly. He failed to see why everyone had a problem with his specialized snuggle method.
Graffiti tried to get away with his suffo-snuggling as often as he could. He remained on top of his snuggle buddy until he was forcibly removed and placed to the side. This sweet pup wanted to stick as close as possible to his loved ones, no matter if they found it hard to breathe in the process.
Out of all his snuggle buddies, Graffiti loved to cuddle with his dad the most. He sought his dad every time he wanted to curl up and snooze, usually in the morning or right before bedtime. It was a good thing his dad never complained whenever he climbed on for a bit of cuddle time.
Graffiti’s snuggle style was unusual to most people, but his family believed it only showed how much he cared for them.
