Valiant Canine Chases Moose Away From Their Alaskan Backyard

Valiant Canine Chases Moose Away From Their Alaskan Backyard

Belle Ava June 18, 2022

It’s not unknown to fur parents how brave their canine buddies are. The moment dogs sense danger lurking nearby, they defend their hoomans to the best of their abilities.

Thus, a brave doggo chases a rampaging moose away from their backyard in Alaska. Even if the pooch ends up getting a kick from the moose, it doesn’t flinch from the task to ensure its family’s safety.

Go away, moose!

In this heart-stopping video, a black-furred dog named Luna stands in their snowy backyard. But, Luna isn’t alone in the area as one can see a gigantic moose standing a few meters away from the pooch.

At first, it seems the moose’s merely taking a peek at what Luna and her fur family do. Yet, when the pooch senses that the moose’s up to no good, she dashes in the wild animal’s direction to ward it off.

But, the moose doesn’t waver from its stance as it stands still in its current spot. Yet, when Luna inches closer to the moose, the wild animal takes action and lifts a hoof.

Luna, get back here!

Seeing the turn of events, Mom, who’s watching from their patio, screams for Luna to leave the moose be. Yet, the brave Luna refuses to give up from the fight even if the moose’s hoof lands on her face.

Despite receiving a kick from the wild animal, Luna sprints in the opposite direction to lure the moose away from her home. And, it looks like the canine’s tactic works as the moose follows her lead.

Fearing another moose attack on her beloved Luna, Mom again screams for her to come back. Yet, as the doggo wants to protect her family from the moose, Luna takes a few steps forward to scare it away.

As soon as the doggo sees the moose walking away, Luna finally heeds Mom’s calls and walks to the other section of their yard. Can’t believe a canine’s brave enough to face a moose head-on? You better watch Luna’s valiant stint against the moose in the footage below.
