Woman Rescues Dogs From Dumping Ground Every Day For Ten Years

Woman Rescues Dogs From Dumping Ground Every Day For Ten Years

Belle Ava April 5, 2021

Every year, countless dogs are dumped or abandoned by their owners for different reasons. Adopting a dog means that you’re accepting to become responsible for another living creature’s life. People should never adopt dogs if they’re not sure that they can take care of them.

Whenever people realize that owning a dog is a huge responsibility, they eventually end up abandoning their dogs. In most cases, these dogs don’t know what they did wrong and you can see the sadness in their eyes that they can no longer find the people they consider their family. Thankfully, there are special people who work hard to rescue these dogs.

A woman named Judy Obregon is one of those special people. Judy started an animal rescue organization called The Abandoned Ones or TAO. In the last ten years, Judy drives to Echo Lake Park in Texas to save dogs that were abandoned by their owners. Judy does this every four o’clock in the morning since this is the time when it happens.

Judy would find these dogs wandering helplessly around Echo Lake Park and she would often call to them. These dogs would always come near her to say hello and Judy could see that the dogs would have a helpless look in their eyes as if they were asking for her help. Of course, Judy knows that these dogs have been abandoned by their previous owners and the dogs are trying to find their way home.

Whenever Judy rescues a dog from the dumping grounds, she would always try to find a quiet place to spend time with the dog and help the dog realize that she can be trusted and that she’s there to help. For ten years, Judy has helped countless abandoned dogs find a forever family that will never abandon them again. Here’s a heartwarming video telling Judy’s story and how she keeps herself motivated to help rescue abandoned dogs.
