Grooming is a massive challenge for dog owners. Pet parents struggle with behaving their pets whenever they get them groomed. And with the quarantine in place, people have no choice but to do it themselves. They result in bribing their dogs with treats or tricking them into getting groomed.
Innovation is essential now that all groomers are closed. For one doggy parent, her trick is most certainly the most innovative thing a person will see.
Oklahoma-based nurse Linds Shelton filmed herself trimming her dog’s nails. What’s so great about it was how quickly she could do it. With clingfilm, Linds wrapped some on her head with the most valuable weapon any dog owner can have: peanut butter. Linds spread a spoonful on her cling film-wrapped head to distract her furry friend with a tasty surprise.
Linds then posted a video of her nail-trimming trick on TikTok, which blew up with more than two million views. Viewers commended her genius and thanked her for giving them an idea to try with their furry pals. Having tried her genius method, their trials succeeded, and some even posted their videos.
On Twitter, one user stated that she had tried many tricks, but Linds’ quirky peanut butter treat worked flawlessly for her pet. Essentially, Linds’ wits have saved numerous dog owners’ dilemmas and provided a new trick up their sleeves. Now, people can have a much smoother time clipping their dog’s nails. Hopefully, more people will post their pet life hacks to help each other, doggy parent to doggy parent.
