Life can be pretty lonely as we get older. A lady in her 90s named Sally Rewehooeern was finding life very lonely ever since her husband died. All her children lived far away and her relatives were scattered across the country.
Sally lived on her own since her husband passed away in 1990. Fortunately, she had a neighbor named Dave Mazarella who always checked on her and dropped by to keep her company. However, Sally still felt lonely.
However, everything changed when Dave adopted a Saint Bernard puppy named Brody. The fluffy Saint Bernard puppy was very friendly and always found his way inside Sally’s yard.
Brody was seemingly drawn to Sally and would always seek her out every time he gets a chance. He could probably sense that Sally felt lonely and wanted to be there for her.
Whenever Brody is missing, Dave always knew where he was. Brody made it a habit to visit Sally several times a day and Sally would always welcome him. Brody shared a special bond with Sally and made sure he was always there whenever Sally felt lonely.
Sally states that Brody always wanders into her house whenever he wants to. She also stated that seeing Brody brings back memories of when she was growing up in Holland. She grew up on a farm and her family always had dogs that kept her company.
Whenever Brody comes to visit, he always accompanies Sally whenever she’s gardening or even going walking to the church. It’s truly heartwarming to see Brody and Sally spending time together.
Whether it’s just hanging out or going out on walks, Brody is always there spending time with Sally. Brody made such a huge difference in Sally’s life. Thanks to him, life for Sally was a little less lonely. Here’s a video featuring Brody and Sally’s beautiful friendship.
