Abandoned Dog Waits Patiently For Her Family To Return Until Help Arrives

Belle Ava July 29, 2023

No dog would want to live alone in an empty lot. However, that was the case for this dog named Nirvana. Her previous family abandoned her there with only some food and a blanket. The poor dog curled up there while waiting for her family’s return.

Nirvana had been lying on that vacant lot for two days when some people saw her. Next to the empty lot was a car wash, and workers from there noticed her sleeping on the curb. When they saw the dog’s food supply was low, they brought her some food and called Suzette Hall, founder of an animal rescue organization, for help.

Fortunately, the dog ate the food the workers gave her. However, she had to spend the remainder of her time sleeping in the vacant lot. Nirvana mostly slept during those two days; despite that, she seemed tired and did not react much when Hall came to rescue her.

According to Hall, Nirvana was sleepy and seemed exhausted from waiting. The rescuer approached the poor dog carefully not to spook her. Despite being tired, Nirvana stood up and greeted her rescuer.

Hall put a leash on the dog, and Nirvana had no protest. It was as if she knew that Hall was there to save her.

The rescuer brought the pooch to her vehicle and drove to the vet. And there, Nirvana had a much-needed bath. Upon arriving at the animal hospital, many people became smitten with her. The staff immediately realized that Nirvana was a special dog. She was lovely and sweet with everyone.

After a few days, the rescue dog went to a foster home to help her start a new life and forget her past. Her mom in the foster home loves Nirvana, who cuddles with her at night.

Aside from cuddling, Nirvana also enjoys spending time outdoors and going on walks or hikes. Now, she has lots of energy and is playful and happy.

This lovely dog is still looking for her forever family. In the meantime, she is busy showing gratitude to her rescuers and foster parents.
