Most of us love a happy ending. We see so many bad things in the news today that we yearn to hear something more positive. Thankfully, this was made possible, thanks to a disabled dog and a man who’s confined to a wheelchair.
A dog named Chance was already scheduled to be euthanized in a kill shelter. Because of his disability, there was a very low chance that people would want to adopt him. Chance still had so much love to give but no one seemed to give him a chance.
Thankfully, an animal rescue organization called San Antonio Pets Alive rescue pulled him from the kill shelter and gave him a chance to find a forever home. A member of the rescue organization, Michael, knew that something needed to be done to help chance find a forever home.
Michael knew what Chance was going through since he also couldn’t use his legs and was confined to a wheelchair. He knew Chance’s struggles and figured that they could overcome the challenges together.
Michael worked hard to help chance learn to walk around using a doggie wheelchair. It was difficult at first but when Chance realized that he could move more freely with his wheels, he started loving it. Michael spent so much time with Chance that he couldn’t help but realize that he’d already fallen in love with him.
Eventually, Michael made it official. After signing the adoption paper, Chance finally belonged to a forever family. Michael and Chance are a match made in heaven. They spend a lot of time together and the two of them eventually became inseparable.
Thanks to Michael, Chance finally found the perfect family. Michael is also thankful to be a part of Chance’s life. Here’s a video featuring Chance finding his forever home. This video will surely bring happy tears to start coming out of your eyes.
