When we think of German Shepherds, various characteristics come to mind. One of these characteristics is that they are commonly perceived to be police dogs. In fact, they constitute the largest proportion of canines utilized by the K9 division of police forces worldwide. Because they are typically bright, obedient, loyal, confident, vigilant, and courageous, they are an ideal choice.
German Shepherds are excellent household pets. In addition to being a dependable guard dog, they are fantastic with youngsters due to their calm and caring nature.
A security dog such as the German Shepherd is quite reassuring for a homeowner. But occasionally, these dogs may also be playful and affectionate goofballs.
One German Shepherd in particular was taken aback when it entered the kitchen and discovered something strange. Was it an intruder? Is it a danger to the household?
When the dog and its owner entered the kitchen, they likely noticed a tiger-shaped stuffed animal that had a very lifelike appearance. The dog had no idea what it was and so it was not sure what to do about it.
The scared dog glances at it and barks, possibly as a warning to stay away. He continues to bark while taking a few steps backward. In a short time, he attempts to approach for more investigation. As he approaches it, he abruptly retreats.
When his human approaches the toy tiger, he returns and begins to pet it. In the meantime, the dog gains courage and follows his owner, albeit he stays behind the man’s back for good measure. Upon determining that his owner is unharmed, he re-enters the house for another sniff.
As he takes a small bite off of the toy’s paw, the tiger moves. Fearfully fleeing in a humorous manner. He returns again and again, but he cannot overcome his fear. Honestly, that toy appeared quite lifelike.
