Dogs can be quite friendly and social by nature. So it is not surprising when the German Shepherd in our story had an instant playmate when a deer happened to pass by their yard.
This German Shepherd is Ike, and he is a rescue dog. His parents say that Ike is quite goofy. He also loves playing a lot and always wants to have playmates. If he doesn’t have playmates, he’d most likely look for one. He also loves spending time playing around in their yard. He lives in Florida with Ethan Cole, his owner.
Recently, Ike was captured on video doing one of his crazy ideas.
Ethan went out to check on Ike, who was playing in the yard. He was surprised when he saw that his dog had company. It turns out that Ike had used his friendly skills once again, so he got an instant playmate.
Who was Ike’s new playmate? Well, it isn’t another dog. Ethan was surprised when he saw Ike playing with a deer. The deer was right outside the fence, and Ethan assumed that the animal just was passing by, and Ike decided that the deer was a great playmate to have.
Ethan thought at first that Ike was just chasing the deer. But when Ethan decided to observe longer, he saw that the two animals were actually playing tag. Ike would run to one side of the yard, and the deer would soon follow and run to where Ike was. Ike would wait for the deer to catch him, and when he does, Ike would then run to get to the other side. The deer would follow him again.
This was the first time that Ethan saw Ike play with a deer. But he said that he wasn’t really quite surprised if Ike found a playmate instantly because he knew just how friendly his dog is.
